Nicole är redo att försvara Göteborg HC:s mål i vinter

Hi Nicole, you decided to sign for a 7th season in GHC, what made you take that decision?

- I have enjoyed being in Göteborg, I have been here for a long time now Sweden is like my 2nd home. Last season was a tough year for myself and the team, but I have seen changes within the team for this season which I think are going in a good direction.

What will you bring to Gothenburg HC as a player and as a person?

- I will bring experience to the team along with the willingness to work hard and determination to get better and win games. Also get back to playing way I know I can and the club knows I can.

Now you will be part of next year's squad, what qualities do you think are important in an ice hockey player?

- To be a good teammate on and off the ice and to always work hard no matter what the situation is.

Göteborg HC has stated that we want to make a restart and build a team with a clear idea, how do you think about your role in building a team with a strong us?

- I hope to contribute to the rebuilding of the team with my experience and knowledge of playing in the league. Also believing if we stick to our goals and morals set at the beginning of the season and trust the process and stay positive, things will happen for us.

What are you most looking forward to for coming season?

- I'm looking forward to getting back on the ice and meeting the new team and to see how our team will come together.

What are your main strengths as a player?

- I play an aggressive/controlled game, my battles in front of the net, to stay calm under pressure and hard working/never give up attitude.

What do you want to develop as a hockey player?

- I want to keep developing my game in all areas to keep pushing myself to be the best I can be and give my team a chance every time I play.

What are your expectations for the coming season?

- My expectations are not to have a repeat of last season and to have the same goal as every year to make the playoffs. For myself to play the way I can do and build on the to give my team a chance to reach our goals.

What is your passion?

- Obviously hockey is my biggest passion but beside that I like to watch other sports like football and F1. I also like traveling and living life, being in the moment.

Anything else that might be good to know about you for our players and the club?

- I'm a relaxed bubble person and have chilled personality. I like to have a good laugh and be in a positive environment. When it comes to game time I know when to switch into serious/focus mode.
